I am searching for information on John William Casey of Wayne County, born around 1862. He had a son Carlo Casey who is buried in Stantonsburg, North Carolina. Carlo was married to Anna Lucas. From this marriage Came Edward Casey who was a painter in Goldsbob until his death In 1969. Edward was married to Anna Belle Hinson (my grandmother) who still resides In Goldsboro. My research has brought me to a dead end on John William Casey and I have nothing further on him or who his parents were. JONES, RACKLEY, RYALS, UTTER posted by Sally A. Utter on Friday, January 12, 2001

Looking for information on the names Utter, Jones, Ryals, Rackley. William F. Utter, Sr., is husband of Dora Jones. William apparently died prior to 1920 in either Wayne or Harnett Co., NC. Have just received death certificate of Dora. It lists her parents as D. A. Jones and Mary Ryals. They were residents of Harnett County. William and Dora had sons who migrated to Wayne Co.: Thomas Chester Utter, who married Lela May(Mae) Rackley, and Edwin Utter. We have much information on the Utter side, but it ends at William F. (there is a lapse between him and ancestors). We believe William's father was James P. Utter of PA, and William F. was born in PA.
