I am looking for any information for John Mitchell Howell. On the 1860 census for Goldsboro with wife Matilda Jackson. Need information on his parents, etc. Matilda was a Jackson, married Isaac Beachum as first husband.

I am looking for information on parents of Allen Smith b. 1829 d. 1914 of Goldsboro,Wayne Co.NC. He married Sarah AKA Sallie Pike 30 Aug 1858. I was told his father was Theophilus, and his father was William and his father was Benjamin. However there seems to be several Benjamin's and I simply cannot pick them apart. If anyone has any information on my Smith side, please let me know. Allen had a few children, Marcellus, Fennel, Mary, Sarah, Lillie, Annie, Alma, and Cora. Cora lived to be a 100. She died in 1977 in the house she was born and raised in on Hwy 13. Alma married J.R. Minshew and had Vivian, who later married Alonza, Lon, Vinson. They had two children, Alma and James. Alma married A.G. Hubbard. Any information on these other lines would be great too. Any information at all would be appreciated. Thank you!

I would like any information on Offie Smith and his wife Howie Lane Smith. I previously had requested information on his son Allen Smith. Since then, I found Allen's death cert and found that his father was named Offie. I think thiis is a nickname for Theophilus. Any information regarding Offie and Howie would be appreciated.

My brother and I will be in Wayne County this spring and we are looking for family members. Our grandparents were Elisha V. SMITH and Sallie Osborn MILLARD. Our paternal great grandparents were William Thomas Smith and Hepsey Peele Smith and our maternal great grandparents were Luther R. Millard and Vivie Southerland Millard. Our paternal g.g. grandparents were Robert Peele V. and Eliza Jane PIPKIN PEELE. Maternal g.g. grandparents: John B. SOUTHERLAND and Mary Jane BLOUNT and paternal g.g. grandparents Felix Bell Millard and Sallie Osborn Millard. Our families were from the Indian Springs And Kenansville areas. Our father William Millard Smith was orphaned at a young age and died at 49 leaving us with little information about his family. We would love to meet our North Carolina families and learn our father's family history. We will be coming from Washington State where our father settled after retiring from the US Navy. There is a small cemetery located behind what used to be the Peele Plantation home off of Greenfield Cemetery Road at Indian Springs. Hepsey Peele Smith, b. 8 Aug 1855 d. 17 Feb 1895, Robert Peele V. b. 18 Jan 1818, d. 1 May 1885, Eliza Jane Pipkin Peele b. 2 Mar 1822 d. 6 APr 1907 and Fannie B. Smith b. 28 Apr 1880 d. 4 Dec 1891. It looks like there could have been other graves at the site, but these headstones are clearly visible and in good condition. These are my g. grandmother, g. aunt, and g.g.grandparents. Thank you. I would like to know something about his family and life before he married my grandmother, Eliza Hagans. Looking for William Bardin who married Sarah Jones, daughter of John and Mary (Wasdin) Jones. I don't have any dates on William or Sarah Bardin. John Jones died in 1851 and Mary Wasdin died in 1861. All the Jones' were natives of N.C. Also looking for Alva A. Jones Balance. She was born in N.C. and was living there in the late 1800's. Alva A. was the daughter of John Jones and Mary Wasdin Jones. I am trying to find any information about an ob doctor that worked in Wayne County hospital in the 1940's thru the 1950's. If anyone can please advise any name/s or knows of a Dr. Boyette it would be greatly appreciated. My mother delivered a baby boy sometime in the late 1940's. We think the fall of 1947 or 1948. The family rumor/s has it that the baby boy was adopted by a Dr. Boyette that delivered him. We would like very much to try and locate our brother and any information about a Dr. Boyette.
