Old Goldsboro Train Station
Old Goldsboro Train
Station at the west end of Walnut Street. It is now used by a building supply
firm (see pictures below). The boy is Louis Holland, the year is
about 1924.
A reader write: This has to be the Train Station in Goldsboro....as
child and young girl I arrived at this station many times in the summers between 1933and 1947
to visit my mother and father's people who lived in a small town outside
of Wayne County that was located in Princeton Boonhill Township, Johnston County
NC. I have many happy memories of Goldsboro and was recently there doing
Family Research at the Courthouse and over in Mt. Olive at the College on
my
Talton-Davis-Stanley-Jennette famlies. Enjoyed finding this page
very much. Thanks for the memory... Mawpar@aol.com
