State of North Carolina, Wayne County
I, N. G. Holland of the County and state aforesaid, being in sound mind and memory considering the uncertainty of my earthly existense do make and declare this my last will and testement in manner and form following that is to say:
First, I give and devise to my beloved wife Pharby Holland my homeplace where I now live and the Jack place and the Collian place and also the Joseph Edgerton place during her natural life time or widowhood. Then to Frank Holland and his brothers and sisters and their hirs.
Second, I give and devise to my said wife Pharby [??] any personal property and mixed of what value or kind soever and wheresoever the same shall be at the time of my death.
Third, I give and devise to Sealy Holland, Crick Holland, Sallie Holland, Diana Holland, Zilphy Holland, Alex Holland and Frank Holland the Lowell Mill and the brick house and lot at the crossroads (in Pinkney).
Fourth, I give unto Crick Holland the A. B. Holland place and also the Nancy Adams place, known as the Apsalam Holland place.
Fifth, I give unto Frank Holland and to the rest of his brothers and sisters the place where they now live, the land that I bought of W. D. Holland. I also lend to Frank Holland my old homeplace, the Elisha Holland old homestead to support Oveliar Lucy and Archa Elizabeth Laney as long as they live single then the said land is to go to Frank Holland and his heirs.
I give unto Frank Holland and his brothers and sisters the piece of land I bought of John Holland (36 acres) and also all the lands not heretofore disposed of.
And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife and Frank Holland my lawful executors to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof I the said N. G. Holland do hereunto set my hand and seal this 15th day of Jan. 1902.
Signed, sealed publish and declared by the said N. G. Holland to be his last will and testament in the presents of us who at his request and in his presents do subscribe our names as witnesses thereto.

Needham Holland was son of Elisha Holland and Pasha Peacock of Wayne County, North Carolina. He was born 6 November 1828 and died 19 November 1920 at the age of 91. He was buried in the Elisha Holland Cemetery near Pinkney in northern Wayne County.
